Walking Shadow Shakespeare Project is excited to be offering free workshops throughout the summer! Taught by Stephanie Crugnola, who has a MA in Early Modern English Literature from King's College, London, fifteen years of teaching experience, and thirteen years directing experience, these workshops will appeal to those who've never worked with Shakespeare texts and seasoned Shakespeare actors alike. Each session is standalone and will start with a breakdown of characters and texts. Together, we'll explore some of the hidden gems of Shakespeare to find characters, themes, and speeches that resonate with a modern actor. After we work with the text for full understanding, participants will have the chance to perform pieces on stage in a supportive, low-stakes Open Mic environment.
